Annie Ingram is a fun-loving impressionist using colorful oils and pallet knives to create happy art for dreamers. Her background is in insurance and education. She gave up her financially secure career to pursue her passion for creating. (She classifies herself as a dreamer.)
She is married to Josh and they have two dachshunds, Dot and Bogart. They moved to coastal North Carolina in 2019. The ocean has always been her happy place. The beauty inspires her creativity every day.
Using pallet knives forces her to suggest things. In her art, she refers to herself as an imperfectionist. She enjoys that each piece is unique to the viewer as they must complete the work with their imagination. She is primarily self-taught and has collectors across North America.
