Ann Gajowski
Ann Gajowski is best known for her ability to incorporate discarded or left over materials into her mixed media art.
Born September 10, 1953, Ann was raised in a small town in the heart of the Hamptons located on Long Island, New York where her mother, an artist in her own right, not only encouraged repurposing but revered it for its creativity and value to the environment. Today, Ann resides in Calabash, North Carolina where she continues to develop new ways for reusing casts offs in her work. She has become a sought after teacher for her workshops and classes, all taught with up-cycle flair still practiced from her childhood.
