Anthony Perretta
Anthony Peretta grew up near the Thousand Islands on the Canadian border. He was offered a job in Wilmington in 1997 and accepted, thankful to be close to the water.
He started his woodworking hobby when he was a little boy in his dad’s workshop. In high school he was introduced to the lathe and it quickly became my favorite tool. He likes to take a piece of history and turn it into an everyday functional piece. All his work is done freehand and he enjoys adding a bit of flair to his turnings with inlays, which makes each piece truly unique. He loves the history of Wilmington and the Battleship North Carolina, which he uses the reclaimed teak from the original decking in some of his pieces.
