Becky Bucci
Providence brought Becky Bucci to Wilmington, NC when she retired at age 57. After years as a quilter she was able to explore other forms of creativity. It’s what she hoped her retirement would offer.
Fascination with color and shape brought her through decades of quilting. It was a jumping point into other forms of expression. A pile of fabric, paper scraps, a piece of rusted metal, a stone, leaf, or interesting combination of colors are some of the things that inspire her. Thanks to many teachers she’s been able to explore painting, mixed media collage, fiber art, card making, bookmaking, metalwork, pottery and continue with quilting. She wakes up every morning excited to work on something. Love, joy and gratitude go into everything she creates.
Life is good and gets better and better with every day.
