Katy Petrisin
Katy Petrisin is a self-taught maker who founded a one-woman ceramics studio, Ware Ware. Guided by curiosity and the limitless possibilities of clay, Katy explores the balance between form and function, with the belief that the objects we live with should be unique, personal, and joyful. Her work invites others to engage with pieces that are both grounding and playful; objects meant to be touched and used.
Her work often highlights the tactile qualities of clay – textures, surfaces, and organic shapes – while remaining rooted in everyday usability. Every piece is hand-built or wheel-thrown in small batches, embracing the individuality and quiet imperfections that come with making by hand.
