Lisa Rogers
Lisa Rogers is a textile artist working in layered fabric collage. Her work transforms carefully selected fabrics—particularly richly colored batiks—into detailed images that emphasize texture, depth, and movement. By combining hand placement with machine stitching, she builds compositions that translate light and shadow into cloth.
Inspired by animals and the natural world, Rogers creates pieces that highlight both the personality of the subject and the expressive potential of fabric as an artistic medium. A retired corporate interior designer, she lives and works in Southport, North Carolina.
