Scott Kestel
Scott Kestel is a furniture builder and woodworker with his studio based in Archdale, NC, although hailing originally from Illinois. He has been building professionally since 2009 and his designs are steeped in the natural and organic elements of the wood. His solid wood creations have traditional finishes allowing one to sense the very soul of a tree within a functional piece of art.
Scott holds a technical degree in Construction Technology, with a concentration in furniture from Treasure Valley Community College in 2003, but is largely self-taught.
He is a participating artist at the Grovewood Gallery in Ashville NC, The Randolph County Arts Guild in Asheboro, NC and the Liberty Arts Guild in Liberty, NC.
