Mark Weber
Mark Weber has been working as both a fine artist & illustrator for over thirty years. Over that time he has created works in a variety of styles & mediums, creating on a whim without apology. His illustrations have been in: The New York Times, Rolling Stone, The Wall Street Journal, Playboy, The Atlantic Monthly, Highlights for Children, & American Eagle to name a few.
His illustrations appeared in the Paris, France based International Herald Tribune’s weekly “End User” column for two years. His children’s books include “The Pirate Princess,” “Paul Bunyan,” “Little Toot and the Lighthouse,” and “Roaring, Boring Alice.”
From 2005 – 2010 he illustrated over 75 young reader books from Townsend Press titled “The King Scholl Series,” a collection of stories created to help educate young urban youths in proper language and life lessons.
Mark’s paintings can be found in collections both private & corporate throughout the United States & Europe. He’s an active board member on “No Boundaries,” an International artists colony started in 1997 and takes place annually for two weeks on Bald Head Island, NC.
Mark makes his home in Wilmington, North Carolina.
