Priscilla Nelson
Priscilla Nelson is a contemporary figurative artist with over 40 years of professional experience. Her passion for art was encouraged from a young age by her parents, who gifted her art supplies and supported her creative pursuits. With a strong foundation from inspiring high school art teachers, she embraced her talent fully, guided by her father’s advice: “Life is not a dress rehearsal. This life is your one and only chance to be the artist that you are.”
Specializing in oil on canvas, Priscilla’s work focuses on figures, clothing, and water, using these elements to tell stories and convey emotion. Her fascination with water developed after relocating to Scottsdale, Arizona, where its rarity in the desert inspired her to explore its reflections and movement in her art.
